What we collect

Nothing. Siteicons is a diagnostic tool that checks site icons for a single URL at a time. It does not require an account, does not set cookies, does not use tracking scripts, and does not store any data on its server.

The URL you submit is sent to the API endpoint solely to fetch that page and its icons. The results are returned to your browser and are not stored, logged, or retained by our server.

Data processed during a check

When you submit a URL, the following transient data is processed entirely in memory and discarded immediately after the response:

• The URL you submit
• The HTTP response from the page (status code, headers, body — used only to parse icon declarations)
• The HTTP responses from each icon URL (used only to extract status, content type, and dimensions)

None of this data leaves the Cloudflare Workers runtime except as the response to your browser. No logs, no databases, no external storage.

Third-party services

This site uses Google Fonts for typeface loading. Google may collect request metadata (IP address, user agent, referrer) in accordance with their privacy policy. No other third-party services are used. No analytics, no advertising, no embeds.

Your rights

Because we collect no personal data, the concept of erasure, access, or portability requests does not apply. Regardless, if you have any privacy concern, you may raise it through whatever means becomes available once a legal entity and contact method are established.

Changes

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the revision. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
